Very nice house, beautiful furniture. Comfortable beds, nice bedding and towels. We were initially booked up the road but our reservation was abruptly cancelled a month before our arrival date. We were lucky to find anything since Pirate Days was about to start. That being said, there were several reasons why I can’t give a 5 star rating.As soon we checked in someone went to use the bathroom & found a half used toilet paper roll on the sink with (apparent) poop on it. The toilet paper was on the sink because neither bathroom has toilet paper holders.Also, the bathroom has inadequate hooks or bars to hang wet towels. No mat in the tub, and one of our guests was 77 yrs old. This is the first rental we have stayed in that had no supplies in the pantry. Not even a salt & pepper shaker. No filtered water, so we went to Dollar General several times.The stove had no overhead light or fan, both were gone.The covered patio had no chairs to sit on and was covered with debris and dead plants. The backyard looked like it had been very nice once, but was not useable during our stay.The “no blinds” on the living room windows was like living in a fish bowl. We were not comfortable sitting there in the evenings.

Nice and spacious rental where we could host my daughter's family who is stationed in Wesport, in the Coast Guard. We enjoyed sight seeing and visiting this area, we will definitely be coming back to this area.

House was wonderful and lots of space. Very close to beach and easy access to downtown. Lots of room to have family over and enjoy our visit.
