VILLA PALMERA, A/C GATED & POOL

Villa Palmera was a wonderful place to stay when visiting La Fortuna. It was very convenient and easy to get into/from the town. The property felt safe and was great for our needs. When I contacted the property manager about cleaning the pool from leaves and bugs they were prompt to respond and came to clean the pool. The houses were stocked well. The air-conditioning worked great and the on site laundry was a blessing. The only concerns I had were that there were some nails in the walls of the pool that scrapped my sons (and my feet) when I pushed off the pool walls to swim. But we had our own first aide kit to take care of it. The bed in the first house was quite uncomfortable. Maybe for one person it would be fine but for two people, it was pretty awful. The kids didn't mind the beds in the second home. Each had their own bed, a double bed in one room and a bunk bed in the second room. It was a good place to stay. Overall, I was happy with the experience.

We enjoyed our stay. We were on the go most of the time so not much time was spent at the home during the day. It had everything we needed and the outdoor atmosphere was fantastic! The location is great for activities in and around La Fortuna. For any questions we had Monica was great to get back with us.

Monica was so sweet. We had some difficulty finding the home and she sent someone to meet us and get us to the right place. FYI..don’t use the VRBO directions. Then one of our kids accidentally locked their keys inside the room so they were locked out. Again Monica was able to have someone come let us back in. We were so appreciative of her kindness in frustrating situations. The homes were perfect for our stay. I would absolutely rent again. Thank you again

We would recommend Villa Palmera for 2-4 adults or a family with a couple of children that has no desire to cook. The kitchen was clean and sufficient for coffee and a light breakfast but difficult to impossible for preparing any larger meals. Additionally, it is a tight space for any more than 4 persons to be able sit together.Location a few km out of town was convenient with gated parking.
