Cielito Lindo is a collection of apartments (including studios) with fully equipped kitchen. The owners live on the premises, so they’re always close by to provide information or help you with anything you need. My studio was spacious with a big, comfortable bed.
While it’s about 25 minutes walk to the main commercial street and a bit longer to Zicatela Beach, it’s close to the quieter western beaches like Playa Carizzalillo, Playa Coral and beautiful Playa Bacocho. There’s also a commercial strip close by (less than 5 minutes walk), with restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, travel agencies etc. There are many sights and activities in Puerto Escondido, although the heat and humidity was a bit too much for me.

Super comfortable stay, the host was very kind. Pool was great. AC was top notch. Great water pressure with hot and cold water!
