The Gîtes La Vicomterie vacation farm is located in the heart of nature in the Manche department of Normandy, south of the Cotentin Peninsula, 15 km from the sea.
Four cozy vacation apartments of various sizes can accommodate 1–6 people. We can accommodate a total of 17 people. Each apartment has direct access to the garden as well as its own terrace with a barbecue area.

You enter the cozy Malve apartment through a beautiful sunroom. Here, you can enjoy the garden even on rainy and windy days. On the first floor is the open-concept living room and kitchen, featuring a dining table, a sitting area with satellite TV, and a single bed. On the first floor is the bedroom with a double bed (1.40 m x 2 m) and a closet, as well as a small bathroom with natural light and a shower. From here, you have a lovely view of the garden. The first floor is fully covered with hardwood parquet flooring.

The Gîtes La Vicomterie vacation farm is nestled in the heart of nature in a very peaceful setting. The farm building is over 200 years old and was built as a “longère” in the typical Cotentin style. The house is 30 meters long and 8 meters wide and faces the sea. Its walls are made of natural stone, and the roof is covered with slate. The exposed natural stone and beams inside highlight the rustic character and the special charm and atmosphere of the vacation farm.
The La Vicomterie settlement is situated on a small hill, 1 km from the center of Ver, midway between the historic towns of Granville, Coutances, and Villedieu-les-Poêles. It’s ideal for anyone wishing to explore the culture and nature of the Manche region. Discover the countryside along the coast and inland on scenic walking trails. We’d be happy to show you our favorite trails and places to stop for a break.
The garden was designed with love and respect for the surrounding nature. Many trees, shrubs, and a few palm trees have been planted, and new ones are added every year. Native plants provide food and shelter for insects, birds, and other wildlife all year round.
The garden features play equipment for children and adults: a sandbox, a trampoline, a soccer goal, a swing, and a bocce court. There are many opportunities to be active outdoors or to relax.
The two donkeys, Suki and Gamin, the billy goats Vico and Ussy, and the cats Ambye and Brehal love to be petted. The guinea pigs are also very popular with our guests. You can go on walks with the donkeys and goats.
