Location, good comms, good set up, parking
It could do with a good spring clean. Cleaned by commercial company. Owners very gracious when I raised matter and offered to get fixed straight away, which did not work with our schedule.

Well equipped and relatively spacious for the two if us but could be cramped for larger groups.
The owners remind prospective visitors of the steps and we would reiterate that. It is only third floor, along a walkway, down a few steps and again, then down a few steps to the door. It's a fair way to carry a case! Mind your head on the way out too as you go up the nearest few steps!

Clean and tidy. Walking distance to town probably about 20 mins but we took a taxi. We would stay again.

Wanaka is a lovely city and enjoyed our visit.
The title of this property is deceiving. It’s barely walking distance to town since it cuts through an extremely steep mountain bike track. The apartment was OK but not a lot of value for that price. The main bedroom and balcony is directly opposite a gym so had to have the blinds closed. The toilet was wafting an old water stench throughout the place so overall didn’t want to spend time there. Wish I just paid a bit extra to stay closer and with a view of Wanaka lake.
