    The stay at Te Wanaka Lodge was the best stay we had in New Zealand. The room was spacious and clean and very well organized. All essentials were taken care of and the location of the lodge is few minutes walk from the town centre. Overall it’s great great great place to stay

    We really enjoyed our stay at Te Wanaka Lodge. There is a fire and two communal lounges that are cozy and welcoming. Well worth choosing the breakfast included option, on our three day stay, we had Eggs Benedict, Scrambled eggs with Bacon, and delicious Pancakes on day 3. Staff were friendly and helpful. What this location lacks in views it makes up for in convenience and homely vibes. They only lost one star in cleanliness due to the pink and black mould in the bathroom sink, in the shower, and the dirty flooring also In the bathroom of our room. If these things bother you, ring ahead before you arrive and the staff would happily accommodate your needs- they are happy and helpful

    Room 2 should be assigned only to the profoundly deaf or to travellers who enjoy being kept awake by every flush of all the lavatories in the building. Otherwise good, clean value.
