Jona Guest house

Loved it all. Communication was super helpful, we were sent clear instructions and options of where to park. I didn't trust my driving or rental car to make the hill so we parked on the road below where we were shown. Accomodation was less than 5 mins to the centre by foot, and the cold tunnel, and 10 mins to the castle. The accomodation was clean, had.lots to offer, beds were really comfortable, it was spacious, great shower, we had a washing machine and balcony.. Hosts were lovely, always smiling and left you to it. Would highly recommend this place!

We received an exceptionally warm welcome from the host’s parents, who were waiting for us, helped us with the parking and had prepared fresh juice after our long day of driving. Although they did not speak English, they made every effort to communicate using Google Translate, while the main host spoke fluent English and was very easy to reach via WhatsApp; she also sent clear directions and a helpful video showing us how to find the house. The location was perfect: wonderfully quiet and completely removed from the busyness of the town, yet only a five- to ten-minute walk from all the main sights, allowing us to see everything on our list without using the car once.

This is more of a heads-up for anyone arriving by car than a criticism of the property: the streets between the main road and the house are extremely narrow, and some of the turns can be tricky to navigate. We managed with the expert guidance of the host’s father, Tomas, who showed us exactly how to manoeuvre through and was incredibly helpful, but we would have struggled to reach the house without his assistance.

The location was perfect and the hosts were soooo sooo friendly. Will definitely visit and book this place again. 🇸🇦
