Gateway Apt in Kingston Central - Hosted by Canstay

The property was in excellent location.

There weren’t mobile reception, my provider was Optus and couldn’t get a single bar in the propert. I had to walk several meters away from building to have reception. The balcony door doesn’t have lock and entrance door doesn’t have lock latch to secure it from inside.

Position was exceptional. Easy parking. Spacious apartment.

Gas stove needs attention - felt unsafe to use. No hot water pressure.

Short walk from train station and great location in Kingston with shops and numerous cafés and restaurants nearby. Good security arrangements. Well equipped apartment including washing and drying machine and appeared to be a full range of kitchen equipment. We only stayed three days so didn't get to use anything but it was there if we wanted to. Apartment included parking which again we didn't need. Chosen purely for it's location.

The 4.00 pm check in was not a problem for us coming from Sydney by train but could be inconvenient if flying in to Canberra. Early check in is available at a significant extra cost so I don't see why the check in should be one or two hours later than the usual 2.00 or 3.00 pm. Likewise I felt the threat of a huge penalty of $110 per hour for late check out was unnecessary and ridiculous. This may be standard for Airbnb but most unusual for booking.com.

The location is close to the lakes and restaurants.

The host provided two of us two towels for a stay of five nights !!!
