Perfect static home with everything we needed.

Site facilities and staff amazing but sadly the owner of the caravan was poor.

The site as the staff was lovely

Upon arrival no key was left, owner did not answer any of the calls. He then answered one from the security officer and he got us a key code for the key safe, I messaged the owner as the WiFi password in the book didn’t work and once again no reply so our first night was quite stressful. Also beds were uncomfortable and I understand the owner wants a ring camera as security but we however felt uncomfortable and that we had lost our privacy and that we were being watched every time we left and arrived, and we wasn’t comfortable with our children being on someone else’s camera.

It is static caravan on busy holiday / residential coastal site. A great space and base to.enjoy local area / facilities, the site itself thought was fantastic, choices of things to do / entertainment with variations family members, walking distance from beach also

Whoever had cleaned didn't do particularly good job, highlighted this to owner who was taking matter up with company/contractor responsible

Lovely caravan, loved wales we will be back. I just hope they haven’t shut the pool again due to low numbers

The caravan was in a good location to the exit and the bridge to the beach and not close to the road noise. The living room was comfy and we could relax in there. The kitchen had all utilities and was a good space to cook in.

The main bedroom is a tad on the small side. I scratched my leg twice on the side of the bed trying to get to the cupboards. Only criticism that is wasn’t a bit bigger but bed was comfy once in it. Nothing to do with the caravan but the leisure park itself. My step daughter came home early from the fair as she wanted to go swimming with my daughter. They walked around to golden gate to be met by a lifeguard who stated that there wasn’t enough people to open up and it was quiet so they were shutting. How about the 2 girls that wanted to go swimming and had been excited to go and ended their fun at the fair early to go. It’s not good enough that you just close if there are only afew people because we have paid just liked everyone else to use and enjoy the facilities around the park. We had an upset girl and that tainted the experience.

A First Night Filled with Stress and Disappointment

This trip was especially meaningful for us, as my parents were visiting for the first time in nine years and our whole family had been looking forward to it. Unfortunately, our first night turned out to be full of stress and disappointment. We were told that late check-in would be possible, so we expected to enter the accommodation without issues. However, upon arrival, there was a barrier gate and no directions whatsoever to our caravan. As it was our first time using a caravan, we had no choice but to wander around in the dark for over an hour. During that time, we tried calling the host several times, but there was no answer. The reception informed us that only the host could provide the key box code. We finally found our caravan after 9 p.m., but I had never received the code for the key box. When I called again to ask why, the host simply said, “I don’t care, I’m giving it to you now.” Regardless of the intention, such words can make a guest feel dismissed and disrespected. Once inside, we found the beds and pillows without covers, and the mattresses were not clean. I understand that in some accommodations guests are expected to put on their own covers, but in this situation—after such an exhausting arrival—it was an additional burden. The start of a trip should be pleasant and comfortable, but this experience was full of unnecessary stress and frustration. Mistakes can happen, but a lack of communication and an indifferent attitude only make matters worse. I truly hope that future guests will not have to go through the same experience we did.

A wonderful space but bedsheets were a slight issue

The facilities worked really well and we really enjoyed the open space in the living room. The wifi was also working wonderfully. The location was beautiful and would love to come visit again.

Would have rather preferred the bedsheets were already set for us when we arrive instead of setting them all out ourselves.

Lovely family get away

Perfect location. We were able to park very close to van. Onsite restaurant serves tasty food and a good range of drinks at a reasonable price. Plenty for the kids to do. Direct beach access as long as you can manage stairs. Sister site right next door extended activities on offer.

You have to go to the next door site for shop or laundry service.

We liked the place. It was warm and cozy. Located near the beach. There was enough kitchen items for the 6 - 8 people. All the appliances were in working condition.

Could find cobweb in one or two places. Had to circle around the place to find the car parking since it was a long weekend.

Lovely cozy clean caravan really enjoyed our little family break over NYE. Great hosts and great communication lovely touches around the caravan inc blankets on the living room sofas was great especially in these colder months had a great stay thank you!

It's good

I liked the location, close to the beach. The accommodation is lovely, very cosy with a fireplace, TV, comfy beds. The place looked nice.

It wasn't explained clearly where the house was or exactly from where to collect the key, we found it hard to find it when it was dark. It could have been cleaned better as well as we found other people's things around the place and crumbs all over inside the sofa bed. Some of the things were not there too, so we had to go shopping late evening even though those necessities were meant to be provided. Otherwise, it was a good stay and we did enjoy it.
