New 2 Bed Apartment in Royston High St

It was spacious and stylish with everything we needed and more. Very comfortable and in the heart of Royston Town with only a short walk from the train station . Nice touch with tea coffee and milk supplied on arrival , very welcome after an extremely long and tiring journey. Lots of places to eat , lovely shops. Local people very helpful and pleasant. Very thoughtful to supply fans in every room especially with the extreme heat were experiencing at the moment. Close to our wedding venue at South farm.. Overall a Very pleasant stay.

Not being able to gain access on arrival as didn't receive details of codes to gain entry ,the details apparently were sent but I didn't recieve , probably due to me travelling on the train at the time and no signal. Would be a good idea to send codes and details earlier than a few hours before arrival. Attempted to contact owner 2 times and rang bells but couldn't get through. Quite distressing after a long journey. Finally got in after 30 mins. Owner offered complimentary coffee at the cafe below for the inconvenience which was a kind gesture. Problems gaining access the following day too. The entry system needs attention. Window ledges need a clean as upon raising the blinds there were bits of bread , i presume from past guests feeding the birds also screws and bits on the window ledge in the small bedroom. The rest of the apartment was very clean. Besides the above issues the stay was exceptionally pleasant and comfortable .

The location was quiet. The flat was spacious and very comfortable and well equipped and thought out.

It was in the perfect spot, as it was just around the corner from where we needed to be and close to shops and train station. It was really clean, tidy, spacious and everything you could think of was provided for. All the little extra touches like milk in the fridge, enough toilet roll etc is always appreciated.

The main thing I would say is that the beds were a bit uncomfortable. They weren't super sturdy and felt like you might fall through them, so some sturdier bed bases would make staying here perfect. We also couldn't seem to access the Free Wifi? The only option coming up was the EE Wifi but when clicked on, it was to pay as you go. Might have been an us issue and an easy fix, but we honestly weren't fussed about it for our 1 night stay so didn't bother trying to figure it out. I'm sure if you needed it, the host would have been able to help no problem because everything else was great, including correspondence about the booking.
