The house was clearly originally designed as some sort of inn or boarding house. It feels incredibly cozy through and through. The kitchen nook coffee area is very well appointed, and the interior of the house was quiet; I didn't notice the other guests during my stay except the ones I ran into at the coffee station! The location was perfect for my visit to Berkeley as well.

It was a great, gorgeous and clean room, in an amazing neighborhood. The private bathroom and the small shared kitchen made it even better. Pretty close to UC Berkeley; you have to take a bus but the station is close and the line stops directly in front of the campus. The price is a bit high, but everything besides that was great.
Merely the high price. Also the room doesn't have any storage space which may make life hard for some people. Everything else was great.
