New Apartment close to Sea and Downtown

We chose this apartment because even though it’s too far to walk to the ocean (but it’s only a couple of minutes drive to the beach), it is near the bus stop for the coach to Sarande, so it was convenient. The apartment was lovely! We were really glad to be able to wash our clothes and hang them outside to dry (the host made sure we had some laundry powder). The coffee machine was great! Beds were comfortable. The air conditioning was lovely and cool. The bathroom was clean and the shower was good quality. But most of all, the host, Fatjona, is so amazing and is always there to help with whatever you need. I wish every host was as amazing as she is! She gave us great tips, and when we had some issues with taxis, I was able to call her and she helped us. It is such a relief to have people there to help you when you are in a new country for the first time, and that’s what we got!

If you have a car, it will be fine. However, if you are travelling with taxis, please make sure you use the map the host has given you, as the address is just the road and we had trouble with taxi drivers finding it. The host will message you a pinned google map location and you can use that.

We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad. Het appartement was brandschoon, ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. De locatie is ideaal, dicht bij zowel de zee als het centrum, waardoor alles makkelijk bereikbaar is. Wat ons verblijf echt extra prettig maakte, waren de twee dames die ons ontvingen. Ze waren ontzettend vriendelijk, gastvrij en altijd bereid om te helpen. We konden alles aan ze vragen en kregen direct een duidelijk en behulpzaam antwoord. Je merkt dat ze echt hun best doen om ervoor te zorgen dat gasten zich welkom voelen. Wij zouden dit appartement zeker aanbevelen en komen graag nog eens terug!

We had a great stay. The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. She helped us get settled and gave us some excellent recommendations for local restaurants and the best beach nearby, which we really appreciated. The property was very good value for money, the room was spacious, and the free on-street parking was very convenient, so we never had to worry about finding a space. The location was also excellent, with the city centre and local shops just a short walk away. Thank you for having us!

The bathroom is quite compact, and there was a mop bucket stored in the shower, which made the shower space a little awkward to use. The kitchen had all the basic essentials needed for a short stay. A couple of the pans were quite worn, and the kettle had some limescale build-up, but these are only minor things that could easily be improved.
