Markoski Basement

An entire flat for the price of a hostel bed. Super friendly hosts. Quiet location a short walk from bus station and center of town.

Hard to find. The actual host doesn’t live there and failed to give me the address — sent a map but it did not get me to the flat. Communication difficult because the on-site hosts speak no English. Also, although there is a kitchen, there are no pots and pans and no microwave, so you really can’t use it for anything beyond making coffee or tea.

This small basement is very comfortable, with a nice living room where you can work or relax. The bedroom is spacious, and you can cook something basic in its kitchen. Overall, it’s clean and well located, with beautiful views. The best part is the hosts. Markoski’s parents are two adorable and kind people who always welcome you with a big smile and a coffee to share a chat, even if it’s just through a translator.

One thing that could be improved is the communication, to avoid any confusion regarding bookings, and having a space to chop food in the kitchen, along with utensils available for travelers staying here.
