I would 100% stay in the 1 bed villa again.

Staff amazing Room was very accurate to pics…..although the private pool in the one bedroom villa is smaller than the pics but still great. Entrance/kitchen/lounge area was great to have Huge bar fridge was very good to have. Double the size of most hotel bar fridges Clothes cupboard area was nicely hidden around the end of the bathroom. That was great. Bathroom amazing. The design is super cool. High pitch cone ceiling was very cool. Bed very comfy

The main pool does not have much sunbaking space at all if ur not staying in a villa with private pool The property does have an odd dirty linen surcharge tho. I was there during wet season (feb 2026) and they did make me aware of this possible extra linen washing policy to which I didn’t see as an issue at first. But seeing as it was very heavy rain 80% of my stay, unfortunately I did get the sheets a bit wet and muddy so to speak by putting my back pack and feet on the bed after being outside. So I did need the fitted sheet and mattress protector replaced. And I was charged AUS92 for the cost of washing the dirty ones. $92 is definitely not the end of the world, I was just a little surprised at that small extra cost during wet season

I stayed at The Prime Canggu for 4 nights and 5 days, and I’m leaving with such a wonderful experience. I could request room cleaning whenever I wanted, and the breakfast was so good that I had it every single day. The hotel is very conveniently located and close to the main street, yet it’s surprisingly quiet. The beautiful interior and landscaping always put me in a good mood. It’s not an ultra–high-end luxury resort, so of course there were a few minor things (like slightly older bathroom facilities), but overall I’m extremely, extremely satisfied with my stay. The kindness of the staff goes without saying. Huge thanks to Rini, who welcomed me so warmly; Dian, whose small body somehow radiates incredible energy; and Ana, who treated us so kindly at the restaurant every day. Thank you so much — see you again!

Great location but lacking in some aspects

The bedroom door locks didn't work, the toiletries were not filled up properly and in fact diluted with water. Cumbersome to use keys to lock the villa and bedroom doors. Will be great if water dispenser is available on second floor.

Amazing location and wonderful staff!!

Amazing location and wonderful staff. The room was spotless and either refreshed daily or left undisturbed, depending on your preference. The bed and linen were exceptionally comfortable. I had requested a quiet room, which was kindly accommodated. I had read some reviews mentioning morning noise from the restaurant below; sound does carry within the hotel, but this is largely due to the building’s design rather than any fault of the hotel itself. The staff were a real highlight - Rai and Dian in particular were incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout my stay. The location is excellent: right in the heart of Canggu, with everything easily walkable, yet tucked away down a quiet alley, meaning no street noise at all. As a solo female traveller, I felt very comfortable here and would happily stay again.

Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff are lovely, especially Rai and Rini. Location is amazing.

Breakfast was basic- buffet style, same thing every morning and not very tasty. Have to pay for proper coffee. I'd prefer to have the option to pay less for the accommodation and not have breakfast included. TV could be on a bracket that extends out so it's a better angle to watch from bed.

We loved everything about this Hotel, the room, the location and the staff were incredible. We will 100% be back and I will always highly recommended staying here. I wish I could remember the names of the staff because they all deserve the recognition, but Rai checked us out and she was always so happy and helpful.

A Beautiful Retreat With Outstanding Service

The room was stunning. The high ceiling in the bedroom is a dream and the lighting is so lovely to create ambiance in the evenings. Having your own pool was perfect for a quick dip, though the main pool was a few meters from us and often quiet. The little outdoor bar was great and the bartender was super friendly and made great cocktail recommendations. The staff in general are brilliant, my partner got sick during our stay and Ria was super helpful in sending him some tea and bananas and helping me find a local medical service to come and see him. Checking in was a breeze with Rini and checking out was also great with Ria and Dian. Rini also recommended a great spa that we visited twice, really helped us ease into the holiday. The breakfast team were also so lovely and helped us start our days on a high note. You’re also a short walk from nice shopping areas, dance studios, gyms, great restaurants, the beach etc so a great location.

Location.

The hotel has some charming qualities, but guests should be aware that there is no lift at all. The reception is located on the second floor, and the rooms are on levels 1 and 3, which means quite a bit of stair climbing. The staff are very helpful and end up carrying all the guests’ luggage, but this can be really taxing for them and may not be ideal for guests with heavy bags or mobility issues. Hopefully the management can consider improving this in the future.

The hotel is very clean, beautiful spacious rooms. Nice warm pool, very attentive staff. Special thanks to wonderful ladies at the front desk😊 great location near the beach, spa, restaurants. Felt super safe to a female solo traveller. WiFi worked well.

Amazing area, fantastic staff and great food!

The staff were amazing, very helpful, kind and friendly, they made us feel very welcome from the second we booked our accommodation to the very end of our stay. Can’t fault a thing about this place it was pure luxury. Would 100% recommend this place if you’re solo or travelling with small group or partner especially. It was just amazing

I had such a great stay at this hotel! It is in the center of Canggu. The staff were incredibly nice, helpful, and super polite. Special thanks to Anna and Sisil for their kindness and also to Rai and Rini the reception girlies for their warm welcome and great service, and to all the staff of the hotel to be honest, they were all amazing and helpful without exception !!! The room was spacious and very clean. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort and genuine hospitality!

Relaxing time spent in a beautiful villa, in the heart of Canggu.

Amazing staff, really friendly and caring. Everyone made you feel at home and was very informative. The property is close to many amazing restaurants and cafes, fantastic location. The whole villa was incredibly clean and is tucked away from the busy street so you don’t hear night noises. Perfect for a relaxing time away!

The sliding doors didn’t close fully, so it let in some external noise.

Absolute paradise.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Prime Hotel Canggu! Our one-bedroom villa was gorgeous and so comfortable, but what really made the trip unforgettable was the amazing staff. Ana, Cecil, Dian, Rai and Elza went above and beyond with their care and attention to detail. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience — we’ll definitely be back!

Loved the location and how close the room was to the pool. The staff were brilliant and we got free breakfast every day. The room was huge, the bed was comfortable as was the bathroom. Laundry services was excellent too.

We would suggest some more hooks or a drying rack to dry towels. The bathroom was getting a little tired (particularly the shower area looked a little grubby even though it was clean, lots of marks and shelf appeared dirty)

The Prime is an elegantly designed accommodation. The pool is lovely and the room are large and modern. The staff are so friendly and you don’t feel lonely in a foreign country. The buffet breakfast was very enjoyable and changed daily and they cook extra eggs your way fresh and also local favourites. The accommodation is close to everything you need. Great stay in Canggu.

The staff were absolutely amazing. I fell ill on the day of arrival and they took amazing care of me - they even shuffled around rooms so they could accommodate my late check out request. The room was huge and so clean. I will 100% stay here again.

We booked the 2 bedroom villa but we had a free upgrade to the 3 bedroom villa since we were with 5 people. Great space and clean but the place needed more cosiness. Great location, friendly and helpful staff.

The villa felt empty, no cosiness, no sofa to sit on although it was a very big place. On the pool there are no chairs to sit on only little sofa with no pillows even. The biggest disappointment was the restaurant. Food was old and tasted very bad. Breakfast was really bad and we did not enjoy it. Pity for such a good place. The place has a lot of potential but needs more work.

A wonderful place to stay if you are looking for a little peaceful haven in busy Canggu

Wonderfully quiet, tucked away down the end of the lane. Lovely rooms and pool. The staff were so wonderful from the moment I checked in on my own for 3 days. Everyone from reception, waiting staff, chefs, groundskeepers were all so friendly,helpful and made me feel so welcome and comfortable. My husband joined me after 3 days, we were celebrating an anniversary and staff helped facilitate an upgrade to a beautiful pool villa and marked the occasion with flowers and a delightful towel sculpture, also the chefs made a lovely cake to mark the occasion it all felt very special and personal… thank you all so much, Rebecca and Steve
