Having the place to myself most of the time was great. Access to the kitchen and its utilities was nice. Plenty of room in the fridge and freezer. Quiet area, just off Court Road, with The Tarn just around the corner to stroll around. Owner was accommodating and we even watched the Euro 2024 together.
A few niggles: the TV could have been positioned better. This appears to be common in most of the hotels I've stayed in (except the one I'm in now). It needs to be lower on the wall as it cricks your neck looking up at it. Depending on your mobility, the flat isn't ideally situated, and you have to climb several flights of stairs to get to it. The location, whilst good in terms of peace, is a good 10-15 minute walk from the local high street.
