It's my second time staying here, but this time it was accidental because I needed a place for the night last minute, and it was very VERY easy to find availability and book it same day. Check-in instructions were sent on-time and I was able to get into the apt with no issues. Just like last time, it was a fully functional, comfortable and very clean space. I would stay here whenever I have the opportunity. Very private place and worth the money.

I don't have complaints. GemStay was the same pleasant experience as it was the first time I stayed here. Worth it.

Everything you basically need for a short stay was there. The self check-in process worked smoothly, as all information was sent clearly via messages beforehand. I also appreciated being able to store my luggage before check-in in a separate room

– Negative highlights - Motion-sensor hallway light was very disruptive at night - Bright emergency exit sign stayed illuminated all night - Room never became properly dark - Windows had poor sound insulation - Additional sliding door was broken and unusable - Light controls were confusing and unintuitive - Mattress was very firm/uncomfortable for my personal preference However, there were several things that personally bothered me quite a lot — although I understand that some guests may not be as sensitive to them as I am. The biggest issue was the lighting setup. The hallway light is controlled by a motion sensor, and unfortunately it also turns on when going to the bathroom at night. Every time it activated, the entire room became extremely bright, which made sleeping difficult. On top of that, there was a large green emergency exit sign above the entrance door that stayed illuminated all night long. Combined with the motion-sensor light, the room never really got dark at all. The sound insulation of the windows could also be better. Even from the 19th floor, outside noise was still clearly noticeable. There was apparently an additional sliding door in the room that probably would have helped with sound or light insulation, but it was broken and disabled with a sign on it, so it could not be used. Another small issue was the light control system itself, which was not very intuitive. After pressing the “all lights off” button once, I couldn’t turn the lights back on from the same control panel and had to figure out another switch near the entrance first. Since I checked in late at night, this became unnecessarily frustrating while already tired. Lastly, the mattress was personally too firm for my taste and not particularly comfortable, though I understand this is subjective.
