Lovely homestay! Felt warming and cozy. 1 bedroom on ground floor, 2 bedroom upstairs. 1 toilet ground floor, 1 toilet + bathroom upstairs. We love the garden, enjoyed our breakfast in the yard. Kitchen comes with fully equipment, they have parking too, just few steps away from the house. Easy check in procedure, the host share the info clearly.
The road drive into homestay is partly narrow, need to be careful and slow. Sometimes need to give way to opposite car.

De tuin was prachtig, zo ook het uitzicht. In de tuin groeide van alles; olijfbomen, druiven, tomaten, aubergines, paprika's, limoen, basilicum. De tomaten waren heerlijk 🙂. Er staat ook een barbecue die we een keer gebruikt hebben . Het huis onder andere ook gekozen vanwege de 3 slaapkamers wat heel prettig is als je graag alleen slaapt. Host hielp ons prima met perikelen rondom de elektra. Zij reageert meteen.
Op de kaart staat 1.8 km vanaf het strand maar dat is de lijnrechte afstand. Er is veel hoogteverschil en om naar het strand of bijvoorbeeld het centrum van Vico te komen heb je echt een auto nodig. Er is wel openbaar vervoer in de buurt ( trein en bus) maar de wandeling er naar toe (of terug) is een behoorlijke uitdaging in verband met de steile wegen.

We overall had a very nice holiday here. The location is great with places like Sorrento, Pompeii, Naples relatively close by. Also the 'local' town Vico Enquese is very nice and the closest beach is ok. The house is relatively spacious and we stayed with four adults and two kids. The garden is great. There's free wifi, although the range is not quite enough to reach all areas. Air-conditioning is very useful to keep the temperature down.
You need a car, which brings its own issues with the narrow roads, high prices for parking and so on. One can manage to walk to the local train station 20min down, 30min up), but for anything else you want to use the car. The kitchen is ok, although there are a few things missing or available only in limited quantity. Furniture in the house is overall not very practical, but one can make it work. The proximity to the garden has its downsides in terms of insects: you're likely to have mosquitoes, ants etc in the house.

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber! Immer gut erreichbar, wenn man etwas brauchte. Hat sich auch im Voraus erkundigt, ob wir alle Infos haben etc.
Anfangs funktionierte das warme Wasser nicht. Das wurde dann aber schnell geregelt. Die Gastgeberin war durchgehend erreichbar und hat sich auch erkundigt, ob es nun funktioniert.
