The apartment is located in the city center. It takes no more than 10 minutes to reach anywhere you might want to go in Vico, whether it’s the beach or the train station. Restaurants, shops, pharmacies, and everything else you may need are all just steps away from the house. The train ride to Sorrento takes only 10 minutes. The apartment is equipped with every possible amenity, and the cleanliness deserves a perfect 10/10. Elena is an angel.

It’s not necessarily a downside, but it may be slightly uncomfortable for people who are sensitive to noise while sleeping. Since the apartment is located in the city center, there is a lot of traffic, and you can constantly hear scooters speeding by. There is also a church nearby, and the bells ring throughout the day and night. Outside the apartment, there can be a strong smell of exhaust fumes from cars and scooters, although this is not noticeable inside the apartment.

The home was very clean and well equipped. The host gave us a lovely welcome and promptly answered any messages. The position was exceptional. A short walk to the beach, the bus stop and train station, superb views, as well as a supermarket, cafés and restaurants.

Just to mention, that although it was not an issue for us, as it is so central, the traffic was a little noisy at times.

Absolutely immaculate, perfectly appointed and attended to. The apartment is spacious and modern, with two roomy bedrooms (one is a queen bed and the other has two twin beds) and two nice bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you need, all new, clean, and in working order. There’s a washing machine and place to hang clothes to dry. The location is in a family-friendly setting about a five minute walk to the train station, from where you can catch the train to Naples in one direction, and Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast in the other. The town itself is a perfect hideaway and base from the craziness of Naples and the crushing crowds of the Amalfi Coast. There are pleasant walking opportunities in Vico Equense, as well as several excellent restaurants. And the host, Elena, was very easy to communicate with.
