About this house rental
PLEASE NOTE: This property is currently up for sale, while we can still accept bookings we can't guarantee if it sells before your arrival date the new owners will want to keep it as a holiday rental. If they don't then your booking will be cancelled and any monies paid will be refunded.
NELSON HOUSE is a lovely 3 bedroom holiday home that accommodates up to 9 guests with only a short walk to the beach and Tavern.
Open plan kitchen with fridge/freezer, electric freestanding stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, electric frypan, electric hand mixer, dining table/chairs, split system reverse cycle air-conditioner. Separate lounge with corner lounge suite plus 2 x 2 seater lounges, coffee table, bean bags, TV, DVD, ceiling fan, combustion heater (BYO wood).
Bathroom with vanity, shower over full size bath, separate w/c, laundry with top loading washing machine, laundry trough.
Small TV and DVD in bunk room.
Bed configuration - bed 1 - QB, bed 2 - QB, bed 3 - 1 single bunk plus1 Tri-bunk (double on bottom single on top)
Pillows and quilts/doonas are provided you will need to bring all your own linen - pillow cases, sheets, towels, bath mat and tea towels
Fully fenced rear yard, undercover area with outdoor setting, hooded gas BBQ.
Fish cleaning facility, clothesline.
Separate rear room not for guests use.
No smoking inside.
NO PETS - this includes visiting pets, any pets sighted at property will result in loss of bond
Marion Bay is a coastal town sitting on the doorstep of Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park. Marion Bay is popular for it's fishing, it has a sheltered beach on one side for swimming and a surf beach on the other side. Enjoy a drink and meal at the Marion Bay Tavern, there is also a general store with fuel, groceries, takeaway food, fishing equipment, bait and ice.

15% discount on off peak nightly tariff for bookings 4 nights or more
Nightly tariffs - cleaning, booking and refundable bond fees apply
Peak - 24th Dec to end of Jan school holidays and Easter: 4 night minimum stay
$250 per night
High - all other school holidays plus long weekends: 3 night minimum stay
$200 per night
Off Peak - school terms: 2 night minimum stay
$160 per night
Bond may increase during peak season

Hi there! We recently stayed at Nelson House. We would highly recommend this to other people for their holiday. The house was a great size for the amount of people. Huge lounge room, great kitchen facilities, the outdoor fish cleaning station was utilised loads. We went with another family of 4 and everyone had plenty of room! Only thing I would suggest is more cleaning products to be readily available for ongoing cleaning whilst at the property such as spray and wipe, dishwashing liquid and cloths as we stayed for 5 days. Amazing property though thank you so much for allowing us to have an amazing Easter with a great affordable house in a stunning location!
