I can’t say enough good about the property. The location, the size, the quality of furnishings and other amenities, the hosts…everything was wonderful and I highly recommend for couples or families.

This is a difficult review to write, but I want others to be aware of our experience. The Östermalm apartment stay was great! The issue we encountered is that the property owner double booked the apartment. We were left the last two nights of our stay to move to another apartment location in Gamla Stan to make room for the new renters. The property owner was honest about the issue of double booking the stay and offered a refund of the two nights he double booked and offered another apartment to stay at. We rented/prepaid for 6 nights and stayed for 4 in the Östermalm apartment. The property owner explained the issue and we understood. They moved our luggage for us. We went to the new apartment. It was so OLD and not even close to the Östermalm apartment conditions. In fact, it felt unsafe and uncomfortable. End of the day, we didn’t receive what we paid for and It was quite stressful during our vacation. We ended up finding a hotel for our final two nights and the owner said he will refund us for those two nights. I hope that comes through since it would be dishonest not to do that. Transparently, the situation felt like a bait and switch. I would be hesitant to rent this place due to this experience. Who wants to be informed they will be displaced during their prepaid stay so far from home.
