Beach Cottage Newly Renovated. Walking distance to the beach.

Short walk to beach. Roomy for a family of 4. Area was quiet; close to pickleball/tennis courts, art pavilion and library. Decor is spare, bright and airy. Outdoor shower & clothesline helpful. On-street parking only. No issues with on-street parking; moved car in the evening to go out. Twin beds located in large landing at top of stairs. No door to 2 BRs. Full & queen mattresses firm w/thin boxsprings. Twin mattresses are “springy.” No central air. A/c window units loud. Twin beds area has a fan, but relies on A/c from other BRs. Stairs are steep/narrow. Focus needed to navigate at night to use bathroom on 1st Fl. Kitchen is serviceable w/dishware, glasses, serving utensils, basic pots/pans. No large lidded pot for steaming/cooking shellfish. Coffee maker & toaster provided. Plumbing issue w/kitchen sink (drain pipe separated twice releasing water; plumber happened to be at the main house and checked our situation — connective pipe is too short). We propped up the drainpipe as a temporary solution to address the issue during our stay. Single bathroom is tight; toilet paper is not mounted. Mirror outside the bathroom; kitchen sink were used for bathroom overflow. There is no tub. Not a “be your guest” rental. Bring your own — including sponges, Saran Wrap, aluminum foil, ziploc bags, Tupperware, kitchen towels, paper towels, napkins, dish soap, hand soap, hand towels, bath towels, & bed linens.
