2nd Row Ocean! 5 Bedrooms, 4 Full baths, 2,500sq.ft. Next to Sea Pines Ocean gate.
You will absolutely fall in love with this gorgeous South Forest Beach home! The property is located right outside the Sea Pines ocean gate and is second row to the ocean. That means you can actually hear the waves right from the house, and the path for the beach is directly behind the house. You will be at the beach in about 3 minutes! And not any beach, this is the best and most private beach on the Island! South Forest beach is a wonderful location because it is relatively quiet and peaceful and yet if you want action, walk or ride your bike on the beach in either direction. To the right about 1 mile is gorgeous Sea Pines Beach Club where you can eat, drink and shop. To the left about a 1/3 mile is the Marriott Grand Ocean. Enter by beach to the Loggerhead Landing Bar for great drinks and happy hour. Lounge on comfortable beach chairs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean! And one mile down is the famous Tiki Hut Bar also on the ocean. Volleyball courts are set up on the beach, or just keep your toes in the sand and a refreshing beverage in hand. All three places offer live music seasonally. Cut through the Tiki Bar to the street and there you will find Coligny Plaza for all kinds of shopping and dining.
Upon entering this ranch house, you are in a large open concept living area. The living room flows seamlessly in the kitchen and dining areas. This is the perfect place to spend your evenings as a family! The kitchen offers bar seating, gas range, updated appliances and plenty of counter space. Off the kitchen is a TV nook with a loveseat (with a small sleeper sofa) - a perfect spot for news in the morning. Just off the TV nook is a small bedroom with a twin trundle (2 twins). This room will use the hall bathroom.
On the other side of the home are the other four bedrooms. The first is a cozy king suite, with a TV and a private bathroom with large walk in shower. The next two bedrooms have a king bed and a queen bed, both have TVs, and will share the hall bath. The fifth bedroom is separated a bit from the rest of the house by a small lounge with a sectional sofa and TV. The fifth bedroom features a king bed with TV and work space, and has a private bathroom.

We absolutely loved this beach rental property! We had a glitch in the beginning of our stay that was quickly resolved by the Island Getaway property management team! Emily is a rockstar!! The kitchen was well appointed for our large family. The beach access was on a path out of our back door. Several areas with TVs to spread out with 6 adults and 3 children.

Overall very nice place. Loved the gourmet kitchen. It was stocked with everything we needed to cook with. Only thing was that the ice maker did not keep up with us and we had to buy ice. Outdoor shower was great to have to be able to rinse off before we went inside. It was nice to have 2 separate living areas as well. One night of the stay there was no hot water and the water pressure was very low. The next morning there was plenty of hot water and pressure. Also, we killed a spider in 2 bedrooms in the house and also a cockroach in the main living area. There are beach chairs there even though the listing doesn't include them. Loved that there were so many bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of room for our big family. There are 3 areas in the house with a step down into another area. The house is just outside the Seapines gate. We were not allowed to ride our bikes in Seapines because we were not staying within the property. This may be helpful information for anyone wanting to ride their bikes to the lighthouse or farmer's market. Easy short walk to the beach.
