Lake Therapy House is one of the best locations in South Haven!! ONE block from the beach, ONE block from Kids' Corner (large playground area with large play set and ball field), and an 8 minute walk to downtown South Haven's fabulous restaurants and shopping.
The house is light and bright 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom, home with a well stocked modern kitchen with all the amenities, open concept first floor with dining, and living area. There are also two decks, one in front and big deck out back. The large backyard has a fire pit, grill, outdoor shower, and horseshoe area. Plenty of room for guests of all ages! We provide beach towels, beach chairs, toiletries, games, sand toys, and anything else we can think of to make your stay as easy as possible.

This was is a perfect location and slept our large family well. We walked to beach and Kids Corner and up town for ice cream! Back yard was great and you have thought of about everything that we would need for our stay. Thank you for a place to make memories!!!Ps - there is a Racoon that visits in the back yard : )

Kathi was impeccable- not only as a host, but as a conscientious and thoughtful person! When you book a rental, it’s so important to consider who you are renting from as I believe that their character and good nature comes through the and in the home! Kathi, is the person you want to lease through for that very reason - just as she is as a person the home captures and exudes the same positive experience from before you check-in (amazing) to stay, and the check-out and post check out. We plan to bring our entire family back with us to stay at the “Lake Therapy.” As a therapist in practice, I can share that the entire experience was cathartic and truly rejuvenating for all. Finally, after our Airbnb host cancelled on us literally last minute in Saugatuck, the 11 of us were without a home and close to cancelling our reunion. Suddenly, Kathi’s home became available through a VRBO search and opened up her home no questions to us with 2 days to spare before our intended arrival!!! Incredible. She embodied what it means to be a “neighbor” not just next door but in life!! Sincerely, Daniel

This is a great rental property. We've been vacationing in South Haven for 10 years and this is one of the best houses we have had.Positives: Great location with close access to South Beach and easy walk to town. House is fully stocked with everything from spices to wagons, bikes and beach toys. Awesome, fenced back yard with fire pit, shed (loaded with toys and beach gear), grill, large deck and horse shoes, hooks for towels and swimsuits as well as an outdoor shower for rinsing off beach sand. Great common area amenities: vaulted kitchen w/ modern appliances, living room sofas and tv and tech (wifi/connectivity), updated bathrooms and showers, dimmer lighting everywhere, usb hookups in lamps and furniture and front porch with Adirondack chairs and sunsetter awning which was clutch in the late afternoon Lots of towels, hooks and bins and the little things like cards, books, games, etc that make a beach house exceptional Negative:- Only one. We arrived on a very hot day and the upstairs was warm and the HVAC struggled to keep a couple of the rooms cool. This was a theme for the duration of our trip, to a lesser degree. The teenagers in our crew were generally unphased by this though. We used the abundance of fans and floor/window-based air units accordingly to keep it as cool as possible.

What a treat to stay at Lake Therapy! Kathi is a fabulous host and super responsive. The house was amazingly well-stocked - every kitchen item we could've wanted, loads of beach items, toys, and games in the garage, a lovely patio and backyard. This property was a perfect retreat for our group and we'd come back in an instant to make more wonderful memories here.
