The owner is welcoming and gave us some good advice about hiking Bromo without a tour, and also offered an affordable transfer to Probolinggo afterwards. Room is tiny and relatively clean. Bed is nice. There’s a hot shower.
Bathroom is tiny, shower would be uncomfortable. There are no working sinks in the building. It’s not the closest location to the start of the hike, you’ll have to walk about 1.5-2 hours to the sunrise viewpoint.

It's only a 4 beds dorm. Beds were fine.
They have a garage for scooters or motos.
Area is quiet.
It's more like a house turned into a hotel, so the lobby is a living room kitchen. And you have to cross it to access the bathroom.
Bathroom is really small.
It's located in the next town so you need to drive and there are not really much restaurants around.
A bit hard to get answers from owners sometimes and they are not around.
Also the place is not easy to find.

Gérant très gentil et de bons conseils.
Il nous a conduit à la gare de probolinggo à prix raisonnable.
Coin salon accessible avec eau à volonté dans le homestay.
Douche chaude très appréciable !
Emplacement proche du Bromo, possibilité à pieds en 1h40 environ mais très difficile à cause du dénivelé.
Chambre très froide et surtout humide. Même bien couverts et avec la couette il fait froid.
Toute petite fenêtre en hauteur qui ne s’ouvre pas. Pas de fenêtre non plus dans la salle de bain pour aérer.
Ça reste un bon choix comparé aux autres établissements à prix similaire.
