Die Unterkunft ist wirklich in einem sehr schönen liebevollen Stil eingerichtet. Täglich gibt es die Option auf einen kostenlosen Reinigungsservice. Das Bad und die Toilette waren sehr sauber. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ebenfalls lassen sich dort Touren buchen, die gut organisiert waren. Die Zimmer besitzen lediglich einen Ventilator. Es ist zwar ein bisschen warm, aber für den niedrigen Preis vollkommen okay.

I loved the staff and the cleanliness, everybody is so nice and the place is so comfy! They even helped me get to Surabaya airport with their shared shuttle and it was great :)

L'auberge est située dans une rue calme, ce qui est très agréable. Elle dispose d'un espace extérieur, d'une cuisine et également d'une fontaine pour remplir sa gourde. La chambre est confortable, bien que la salle de bain soit très petite et n'inclue pas de lavabo. Le personnel, notamment Bibil et Rian, sont très gentils et accessibles en cas de question/demande. Ils sont très réactifs sur WhatsApp aussi et organisent des activités dans Malang. J'ai également réservé l'expédition au Mont Bromo et celle aux cascades de Tempak Sewu et les deux activités ont été superbes et bien organisées avec des conducteurs et guides adorables !

Si vous choisissez le service de pick-up depuis l'aéroport, assurez-vous en amont, via WhatsApp, que l'auberge est bien au courant des détails du trajet et est en contact avec le conducteur. Demandez-lui une heure d'arrivée approximative et n'hésitez pas à confirmer ensuite avec le conducteur. Sachez aussi que l'auberge est située dans un quartier traditionnel plus conservateur que le reste de la ville et qu'il faut vous habiller avec un bas long et les épaules couvertes.

The hostel is immaculately clean and the staff friendly. There is a kitchen to cook with a fridge to store cold items. An instant hot/cold water unit is available in the dorm common area. Communication via WhatsApp is highly responsive to questions.

The plumbing omits a smell when toilets within the accomodation are used. My room had a private bathroom but I needed to keep the door closed as the smell enters the sleeping area. Backpackers should note that the area is conservative in regards to dress code. I stepped out front of the hostel for around 5 minutes to take a photo wearing long pants and a sleeveless shirt. I was sent a message the next day to remind me to dress respectfully as neighbours had complained. I also received a message after I had left for a day activity to inform me that the hostel was having a function and guests were asked to avoid the area and access their rooms by a side door. I could not enter the kitchen to get my food. :/ Notice in advance (perhaps at the time of booking) would have been appreciated. I felt as though I could not access facilities that I had paid for (kitchen access) and was not welcome. There is another DeCasa in Malang that is better suited to Western backpackers. I would recommend choosing that one.
