Milkwood Lodge 11 - Sleeps 4

The ocean view was spectacular. Very comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen.

A few things needed sorting out in the unit - the kitchen taps needed new washers (dripping constantly even when we tried to close them as tightly as possible). Downlights flickered frequently. A long walk uphill from the parking area to the unit was tiring. May be an idea to inform future guests, as it wouldn't be suitable for older or disabled guests.

The view was spectacular; the cabin was clean and had everything necessary for our stay. It was peaceful and being able to sit out on the veranda and just soak in the view and the sound of the ocean was just what we needed.

The climb up to the cabin was unexpected and it would be an idea to include a warning about this on the booking website. We arrived not expecting such a hectic climb up to the cabin from the parking area and a steep walk back down and my partner has a walking disability. This severely limited our ability to do any activities during our stay as we had to plan around only being able to leave and return to the cabin once a day because of the steepness of the stairs and the walk ways. A warning that the cabins are not suitable for those with walking disabilities, because of the steepness of the access, would have been good to have on the booking website.

Amazing view of the beach. Property is well maintained. Pool was pristine. Beach is so close and clean. The unit itself was spotless. Neat, clean all necessary amenities were available. It was just perfect.

I wish there were towels. 😄 But I can understand why they don’t provide. It was still fine though.
