Great location , well decorated and equipped

1st floor apartment, excellent, would be even better with lined/ blackout curtains in the bedroom + some way of reducing the light into the bathroom as the bathroom has no door, however the place it excellent!

Close to everything, new and clean

Booking.com’s description of the view was not what we got. There Are 4 appartements, that is not very clear and you do not get a clue of that e.g. By telling which one you’ve booked. Our was 2 steps down (‘cellar’-like), we had the outer-part of the aircondition for 2 (or more?) flats just on the other side of the wall where the bed was. That made a noise like an engine on a big ship.

Departamento hecho a nuevo. Impecable. Muy buena ubicación si se quiere estar en plena ciudad antigua, pero no sobre una callecita tranquila y a la vuelta de paseo marítimo sobre muralla. Muy buena atención de los anfitriones.

Al ser un departamento planta baja en un pequeña calle, resulta un departamento un poco húmedo y sin iluminación. Cama chica para dos personas. Mala ubicación si se llega con mucho equipaje dado los autos no pueden ingresar a ciudad antigua y debe quedar a 15min a pie. Y para llegar a alojamiento es en subida y con escaleras.

The hosts were easy to communicate with and very friendly and helpful. I think they are actually on-site manager/employees of a larger company that has purchased the building and rents its apartments. The location was ideal -- right in the old town near the Picasso Museum. It is on the street-level so people appear to peer into the windows, but there are sheer blinds so it is sort of an illusion. The apartment seems to have been recently renovated with a modern and clean look while also maintaining the original's character such as the stone walls. Nice shower (good temp and water pressure) and a very comfortable bed. Toilet is in a separate closet-sized room near the shower/bath room. Air conditioner worked well -- it's in the bedroom, which became the coolest room in the apartment, with the kitchen and living area a bit warmer.

My only negative comment would be that the apartment has a dampness that is possibly from its stone structure or possibly as a result of the air-conditioning on a very cool setting. My swimming suit and towels never really dried completely and shirts I had not yet worn felt damp from the moisture in the air. Perhaps this is all due to the time of the year with hot summer days and the AC running. The bed was very comfortable but the comforter seemed to be made of synthetic material which didn't benefit from breathability or the dampness. That could be an easy fix; not sure about the dampness -- as I said, maybe it's a seasonal issue, but I did not experience this in other places that I stayed on this trip to the Cote d'Azur.
