A Great Choice for Staying in Lefkada – Excellent Location and Great Service Having visited Lefkada several times before and stayed in different parts of the island, I can honestly say that this apartment was our best choice so far, both because of its excellent location and the overall quality of the apartment. Apartmant is located in Tsoukalades, on the northwestern side of the island, on the road from Lefkada town towards the western beaches. The location is excellent if you want to be close to the main town while still being away from the crowds. Lefkada town is very close, as are restaurants and large supermarkets, and the western beaches are easily accessible. The village of Tsoukalades itself also has several mini-markets, bakeries, and restaurants. We especially loved how close the apartment is to Pefkoulia Beach, which turned out to be our favourite beach in Lefkada this time. The beach is spacious, the sea is absolutely stunning, and there is a section with sunbeds and umbrellas, while the other part is completely natural. What particularly surprised us was how much space there was. The last time we visited in July, the beaches were less crowded, but this year, in August, almost every beach in Lefkada was packed. Pefkoulia, however, still had plenty of space, which made a big difference to us. The road leading to the apartment is partly unpaved, as is the case with many roads in Lefkada, but it is not steep and is perfectly manageable by car, so this was not a problem for us. The apartment is spacious and very well equipped for a comfortable stay – we had everything we needed. I would especially like to praise the cleanliness and maintenance. During our seven-day stay, the apartment was cleaned every day, the rubbish was taken out regularly, and toilet paper and dishwashing detergent were replenished. Our bed linen and towels were changed several times during our stay, which is certainly not something that can be taken for granted in every apartment.
