The Old Distillery - Premium Suites

Our stay at the old distillery was wonderful, checking is was very simple and the suite was stocked with anything we might’ve needed during our stay; the kitchen had pots and pans & even a few spices if you wanted to cook yourself. We were three adults staying, and the sofa bed was comfortable. We also really enjoyed the big patio/balcony we had. The location was close to everything but still quiet thanks to the soundproofing of the windows. Our suite was on the top level and the stairs leading up are quite steep - it didn’t bother us but good to keep in mind for anyone with limited mobility. We only stayed for a couple of nights but could absolutely imagine staying in this suite longer term as well. We’ll definitely be coming back if we return to Rethymno!

Very nice Appartment with good host! Centrally located, clean, nice designed, just positive emotions about place.

Très bel appartement aménagé et décoré avec goût; il est idéalement situé (très belle vue du salon) car près de tout sans être bruyant. Bien équipé: j''ai apprécié la laveuse et le balcon avec séchoir. Bonne climatisation qui arrête et repart lorsqu'on ouvre les fenêtres. Ouverture des la portes d'entrée avec carte magnétique (éviter le transport de clés).

L'adresse fournie (122 Arkadiou) n'existe pas ! Il faudrait corriger cette erreur dans Booking. Mon appartement (B01) était au 2e étage, sans ascenseur; l' escalier est étroit et en colimaçon (à éviter pour personne peu mobile). La bouteille de vin est une belle attention mais je l'aurais échangée contre de l'huile d'olive et du vinaigre pour faire la cuisine (seulement du sel et du poivre comme condiment !). La salle de bain est loin de la chambre.

The Old Distillery is in an excellent location being very convenient for shops,restaurants etc and also the sea front. The apartment was modern,very well equipped and well presented. There was a little cafe down below and the noise of gentle chatter and pleasant music added to the holiday mood. The little coffee kiosk a few doors up the street serves excellent take away coffees.

We were a bit disappointed with the shared balcony which was on the top floor of the property. There was no shade during the day and the noise of the air conditioning fan meant that it wasn’t very pleasant to sit there in the evening either.
