Bright Valletta Apartment with Maltese Balcony

For the price it was a gorgeous stay. We found it very comfortable and the many airco’s really helped with the humidity. The place is around a spot where many party goers go so it was a nice atmosphere as someone who was looking for that. The owners were very helpful each time and were very understanding when we had a problem or when there was a misunderstanding. It was my first time booking on booking.com and it was an amazing first experience.

Everything was perfect, absolutely no complaints.

The apartment was really spacious, spotless, and well set up for 4 people, even though there were only 3 of us. The location is ideal as you are right next to all the shops and restaurants. Communication was brilliant throughout, Lia was super helpful and always quick to reply on WhatsApp and Booking.com. We couldn't check in early, but they let us drop our bags off in the room while it was being cleaned, which was really handy. The complimentary wine, tea, coffee, and washing up liquid were also a very nice touch!

It was a bit tricky to find at first because there is no sign on the building, and the keybox isn't numbered so you don't know which one is yours among all the others. The street gets quite noisy at night with people singing into the early morning, mainly because there are 3 or 4 bars right on the road. Inside, both bedroom doors had broken hinges so we couldn't shut them properly, and there was an occasional cabbage or sewage smell coming from the bathroom. Also, the Wi-Fi details sent by message were wrong, but luckily the correct info was in the welcome pack inside.

Excellent location for sightseeing, close to everything. The apartment was very spacious, and having two bathrooms, a washing machine, and a dryer was a great bonus.

Picking up the keys was difficult. The key lockbox wasn't labeled, and I didn't receive information on which box it was - only a code to an unknown one, which was quite inconvenient. Furthermore, the management company sent suspicious links that Booking.com ended up removing. They then sent them via WhatsApp, which felt unprofessional and unsafe. The link requested a security deposit that was never mentioned beforehand, though after my clear protests, I didn't have to pay it.

Es war soweit sauber, sehr gute Lage

Die Fenster waren undicht, viele Mücken im Zimmer. Aufgrund der Lage war es sehr laut, auch Nachts. Ich habe der Unterkunft einmal ein Problem mit der Unterkunft geschildert, außer Nachrichten wurde es aber ignoriert….. Für den Preis hatte ich tatsächlich mehr erwartet!
