Rotherham Meadowhall

House is big, board games, pool table, darts etc… which the kids loved

Very tatty dated decor , half the light bulbs didn’t work, main light in conservatory didn’t work so playing pool hard at night, sockets don’t work in there either. No way has the place passed an electrical check. WiFi was useless. Random objects and clutter left everywhere. Curtain in loft room are a foot short of the window so bright light in the morning. Arcade machine in sitting room does even plug in. Table football not there like in picture. Loose weight lifting weights just lying around on the floor.

The property was enormous had loads of beds could sleep up to 11 people great for a big group who do not mind sharing a room One room was big could sleep up to 5 people had two double beds and a single. Another room had 3 single beds. The other two rooms was a single and a double. Perfect for our group if everyone stayed, but our hockey team did not make it to the next round, so they did not stay. The game room was great played pool. Was clean beds were comfortable communication with host was great.

I loved the size of the house and there were a lot of beds which was an added bonus if you have a large family It was clean and tidy Loved the amount of games and pool table and football table would definitely recommend and use again

Didn’t like the rocking horse but some people will just my opinion but overall fantastic house

Having the whole house and garden to move about in We ordered a Chinese and it not only was the best Chinese takeaway we have had, it arrived very quickly. Despite the rips, one cue and not enough room to pull the cue back, having the pool table was a lovely way to spend the evening and breakfast. If it had been a nice evening it would have been nice to go out on the patio and there was a bbq there to use.

We couldnt lock the conservatory and the 3 houses have a shared garden at the back so anyone could come round and get in to the house. There was a nice family next door who were friendly, but it was still disconcerting. I wouldnt stay again. We stayed here because of the pool table, but there was only one working cue, the end fell off the other when I picked it up and the felt was ripped in so many places. The floor in the conservatory was spongy. You couldnt lock the kitchen door into the conservatory and you couldnt secure the kitchen window into the conservatory. It states parking, but you are at the mercy of the other terraced houses that are also rented out, next door had several family members staying with more than 1 car so they took our space and we had to park round the corner. The road is parking both sides and not very wide, so if your vehicle is large you are stuffed. Stairs and steps outside the property at the front are steep, thank fully there is a handrail next door that I could reach for and use, you cant stay here if you have mobility issues.
