Perfect place, the refuge is a new place. The owner is very kind. Everything was perfect.

I just would like to suggest to find a better bed for the third person. It was not bad, but it was not so comfortable like the double-bed.

The location, the room size and the hospitality

We travelled with our 3-year-old son, and it turned out to be an excellent choice for families with young children. One of the biggest advantages was the location: the beach is only a 5-minute walk away along a flat, easy road that’s perfect even with a stroller. The beach itself is fantastic for children, with shallow water and plenty of natural shade. The village has everything you might need, including a supermarket, cafés, and restaurants, all within walking distance. The apartment was spotless, modern, and felt almost brand new. It was also very well equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed to prepare meals. The washing machine was another feature we really appreciated, especially when travelling with a small child. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and having access to subscription TV channels was a nice extra. We also loved the balcony. It was peaceful, private, and the perfect place to relax after a day at the beach. Even though the apartments are centrally located, they are impressively quiet, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. A special thank you to the owners, Nikos and Dimitra. They are genuinely warm, kind, and welcoming people who went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. We also managed to fit a travel cot in our room. It made the room a little more compact, but it wasn’t an issue for us at all, and we were still very comfortable. Last but not least, the jacuzzi is a lovely bonus and a great way to unwind. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Galissas, and we highly recommend it to couples and families alike.

The apartments on the upper floor may not be ideal for families with children who use wheelchairs or for guests with mobility issues, as there are several steps that need to be climbed to reach them.
