Bed and Breakfast with a View & Pool Bastide de Marie Grasse

We had a wonderful stay at Bastide de Marie in Grasse. The entire property exudes beauty, elegance, and great attention to detail. The rooms are charming and very comfortable, while the garden is simply stunning, with a perfect mix of sun, dappled shade, and cool shaded areas. The pool is excellent. The atmosphere is peaceful, relaxing, and wonderfully tranquil. We were lucky enough to be one of only two couples staying there, which made it feel as though we had the entire place to ourselves. A special bonus was being able to prepare our dinners in the outdoor kitchen, normally reserved for the owner.

Nothing to remark, but it is recommended to bring your own car or take an Uber for getting into the city center as there are few pavements to walk on and the roads are busy and steep.

breakfast was sumptuous, Marie takes personal pride in serving good fresh local produce (including some veggies from her garden and home made jams). Marie was very helpful in suggesting where to go for dinner.
