Mas Du Roc Bed & Breakfast

Einfach alles!! Schon bei der Buchung über Booking.com hiess es, wir hätten Glück, dass wir noch ein Zimmer bekommen hätten, denn das Haus sei sehr beliebt. Das können wir, als viel-Reiser gerne bestätigen. So wundervolle Gastgeber sind heute kaum mehr zu finden. Gabriele ist ein Herz von einem Menschen und die geborene Gastgeberin. Auch ihr Mann, Olivier, der erst am zweiten Tag anwesend war, ist ein toller Mensch, mit viel Humor und tollen Geschichten. Dass auch das Gästepaar aus Luxemburg bestens in unsere Runde passte war ein zusätzliches Highlight. Das Haus, der wunderschöne Garten, der Pool sowie die unglaubliche Ruhe sind einmalig. Auch die Restaurantempfehlungen sind einfach Spitze und man kann sich darauf blind verlassen. Einfach toll!!!

It is in a very quiet but very beautiful location! The room was clean and the shower is very comfortable! The breakfast was fantastic! The Owners are very kind people, they make you feel like home!

Chambres d'hôtes très spacieuses avec sdb très pratique chacune, selon visite avec Gabriele, la propriétaire. 2 grandes chambres avec vue sur piscine; 1 un peu plus petite avec terrasse sur le côté équipée d'un store-banne pour protection du soleil en matinée! Chambres parfaitement ventilées avec ventilateur plafonnier ultra moderne et silencieux! Grand jardin agréable avec grande piscine et terrasse tout le long avec plusieurs transats, fauteuils, tonnelle avec table ronde et quelques chaises pour l'apéro à l'extérieur et possibilité de faire un BBQ. Petit-déjeuner complet et varié autour d'une table idéalement placée, à l'ombre sous une pergolas. Couple propriétaire, Gabriel et Olivier, très sympathique et amusant, beaucoup d'humour aussi!! Gabriele est aussi très bonne conseillère pour les excursions et les restaurants à fréquenter. Situation géographique idéale pour la tranquillité et à proximité de villages avec plusieurs restaurants en amont (10 min. en voiture), et de la côte d'azur (les environs de Mandelieu) en aval (30 min. en voiture). Mas du Roc vraiment conseillé pour court ou moyen séjour, voire plus !!

The room was quite comfortable and the breakfast on the terrasse very pleasant.

DO NOT ignore the rather faded STOP painted on the road in front of the gate. It is a wide gate and it opens towards you. If you don’t notice this the gate will hit your car and put a nasty gouge in it. There are no sensors and if the owner has a CCTV to see who is there before opening the gate they did not pay much attention to it. My car went into the paint shop yesterday for an estimated £2340 repair and respray of the whole bonnet. OK, so is that my fault for have a car with triple layer pearlescent paint, I admit a less complex finishes could just be touched up. Access from the north is the quickest as it avoid going through the town but because to the narrow road you need to be confident in the width of your car and your ability to do a 180 degree turn between high walls. The notices in the room were heavy on rules about things you should not do, and it was hard to check with the owner on what you could do as the only communication method was to shout.
