Don't get deceived by the few ratings! One of the most unforgettable places we've ever stayed in. A stone house from the 1880s in a tiny village in a hidden village in the mountains near Omis. The atmosphere is unmatched. Comfy and well-equipped living room, three bedrooms, a full kitchen and a small bathroom, plus a separate grill room and a terrace for private use with the most gorgeous night sky, all a 10min drive from the seaside in Omis. The wonderful hosts (father and son whose family the house has belonged to from the beginning) welcomed us with homemade wine and cheese and bread. As a bonus, the famous rafting and ziplines in the Cetina river canyon are a very short drive away.

Small warning: the drive up to the house is not for beginner drivers, as the road can get quite steep and narrow. Nothing crazy though (we've driven much "worse" roads in Croatia).
