About this house rental
Ocean Echo is a comfortable, spacious and relaxed beach house with touches of nostalgia from the good old days.
The house is a short walk from the Inlet, playgrounds, mini golf and the Aireys 'bottom shops' (which includes a surf shop, book shop, sweet shop, fish n chips, pizza and cafes).
The house is set on a huge block, with lots of flat grass for kicking a ball or lounging. It is in an incredible location, with a reserve and playground across the quiet street.
Overview of the house:
- 4 bedrooms - Bedroom 1: Queen Bed, Bedroom 2: Queen Bed, Bedroom 3: 1 x bunkbed and 1 single bed, Bedroom 4: 2 x single beds.
- 1 bathroom with shower & basin
- Separate toilet
- Separate laundry with washtub, washing machine & dryer
- Dining room with a large round table (seats 8-10)
- Two living areas, one with an open fire
- Large trampoline is in the garden to keep the kids entertained, plus kids' toys and books in the bunk room
- Heating/cooling: there is an split system in the dining/kitchen area for heating & AC. There are fans for the other rooms during hot weather. Heating is via the split system, an open fireplace (living room) and oil fin heaters in the bedrooms.
Please note Ocean Echo is original and unrenovated, with the kitchen, bathroom & toilet amenities celebrating the days of old. For that reasons this is a house for people who enjoy a relaxed, unpolished vibe, rather than those looking for modern touches.
Please note:
- Linen & towels are NOT included. Please bring your own
- Bring kindling & wood if you wish to use the open fire
- Our property is not fenced so is not suitable for dogs
- The kitchen does not have a dishwasher
- Low-speed mobile WIFI is available, or you may prefer to use your own hot-spot for streaming
- We have a smart TV so you are welcome to view via your streaming apps, but there is no free to air TV connection
- There is a strict No Party policy (no schoolies, hens, bucks etc)
- Bookings assume that you and your guests will treat the property with the same respect as your own homes and in accordance with the “House Rules”.
- No audible noise outside the property between 10pm and 8am.
