Welcome to our updated 1st floor 1800s duplex, located in the heart of 2023's top summer destination - Louisville. A stroll away from Churchill Downs, with UofL's baseball field as your backdrop. Enjoy a king bed, 2 twins, and den futons for extra guests. Cook in our stocked kitchen, laundry at your convenience. Relax on the deck, park worry-free off-street, and enjoy cozy evenings by the firepit. Close to the airport, this is your ideal base to explore or unwind in this vibrant city.

Discover the charm of our recently renovated 1800’s brick duplex with high ceilings and new walls, nestled in Louisville. Parking in the gravel driveway, you ascend the stairs to a backyard boasting a cozy firepit and inviting porch. Travel left around the home to the front door and step inside.

To your left, double pocket doors open to reveal a bedroom adorned with two twin beds and bureaus. Continue down the hallway to the master bedroom, equipped with a king bed, bureau, Sony HDTV, and Fire Stick for all your streaming needs.

Venture left to find a tiled bathroom boasting a shower, bath, toilet, and sink. Adjacent to the bathroom, a dining room awaits with a table for six, ideal for shared meals and conversations.

Further along, a fully stocked kitchen comes equipped with a coffee maker, microwave, and all necessary utensils, pans, and silverware. A washer and dryer off the kitchen provide additional convenience for longer stays.

Journey to the back of the home where a living room welcomes relaxation, with two futons for additional sleeping arrangements and another HDTV with a streaming stick. Step outside to a backyard equipped with lounge furniture and a firepit, perfect for enjoying warm Louisville evenings.

We will provide you a code to the front door. It's a digital keypad. The rear entrance is a sliding deck door.

We are available by phone, text and email. Also, our co-host lives in Louisville and can be there in 15 minutes by car.

This is an up-and-coming area. Much of the neighborhood is college based. Easy access to concerts at the UofL football stadium, sports, eating, groceries, and most importantly, the historic Churchill Downs is about a 5-minute walk!

There is one space in the back of the home. There is additional parking near the home. This parking is impacted by the Kentucky Derby, so you are guaranteed one space.

There is free parking in front of the home during select times. It is shut down during the week of the Kentucky Derby. There is one parking space per unit in the back and you can also use the street behind the house to park. Please note, it's very close to the baseball stadium, so there are foul balls that come in the direction of the cars.
Please no confetti in the home. We have experienced cleaning this up and it's not fun. If you move the furniture, please move it back when you leave. Be courteous of your neighbors.
