About this house rental
We are offering this charming, renovated family home for rent in the village of Rombach-le-Franc. It faces south-east, boasts mountain views, has a floor area of 104 m² and can comfortably accommodate 5 guests. It comprises a lovely living room, a fully fitted kitchen, three beautiful bedrooms and a shower room. We look forward to welcoming you!
The property is laid out as follows:
- A 13 m² living room with a sofa, coffee table and TV
- A fully fitted kitchen including: electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hob… and a dining area
- A 14 m² dining room
- A reading/games room with armchairs and a coffee table
- Bedroom 1: a double bed (140×190)
- Bedroom 2: a double bed (140×190)
- Bedroom 3: a single bed (90×190)
- A shower room
- A separate toilet
For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: a washing machine, a plancha, and an ironing board and iron.
Outdoors:
- A 20 m² terrace with a bench, table and chairs to enjoy the fine weather
The house is ideally situated in Rombach-le-Franc, in a very pleasant setting with views of the Vosges forests and mountains. You’ll find all the essential shops nearby, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars and a market…
Activities:
- A charming holiday cottage ideally situated for walkers and cyclists.
- Just 10 minutes from Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines, 20 minutes from Sélestat, 40 minutes from Colmar and 50 minutes from Strasbourg, the holiday home offers easy access to the region’s main attractions.
- You’ll also be just 20 minutes from the famous Alsace Wine Route, where you can sample local specialities such as sauerkraut and tarte flambée in traditional winstubs
- Near the gîte, you can enjoy several unmissable festivals: the Corso Fleuri in Sélestat, the Colmar Wine Fair, the Strasbourg European Fair…
Transport:
If you choose to travel by car, you can park directly in the private car park (1 vehicle) or on the street outside the accommodation.
As for other modes of transport, here is some information that may be useful:
- Nearest railway station: Sélestat, approximately 16 km away (22 mins by car)
- Nearest airport: Strasbourg, approximately 61 km away (53 mins by car) and Bsel-Mulhouse, 93 km away (1 hr 5 mins by car)
- We recommend using a car to make the most of your stay
Other notes:
- Bed linen and towels are not included but can be provided on request at an additional cost (to be arranged and paid for with our partner on site). The prices given are for guidance only and are subject to change by our partner: double bed set: €10 per bed
towel set: €10 per person
- Pets are not permitted in the accommodation
- We recommend taking care on the narrow staircase
- You are responsible for cleaning the property at the end of your stay (or this can be arranged at an additional cost through our on-site service provider)
- Any request for arrival or departure outside the specified times is subject to the availability of the person in charge of check-in. A flat-rate surcharge may apply

Really nice apartment with plenty of space and a lovely terrace to eat outside. A car is recommended though, the nearest supermarket is otherwise a 30 minute walk. The owners are very lovely and helpful as well!
