Spyglass Landing is located on the historic Erie Canal, only 1,000 feet from Buckeye lake - our dock allows for easy lake access via boat or even kayak!
*Renter must be at least 25 years of age and must be present during entire booked stay*
**Maximum 6 adults**
*Up to 7 guests including children*
Welcome to Spyglass Landing on the Canal at Buckeye Lake - a wonderful blend of comfort and waterfront living.
As you step inside, you'll be greeted by expansive windows which allow plenty of natural light to fill the space and offer picturesque views of the tranquil canal right outside your doorstep.
The well equipped kitchen invites you to channel your inner chef, complete with modern appliances and granite countertops. Whip up your favorite meals and enjoy them in the adjacent dining area, or take your feast outdoors to the spacious patio overlooking the water.
Explore the canal by kayak, embark on a leisurely bike ride along the shoreline, or simply take a relaxing stroll and soak in the beautiful views. Even better, bring your own boat along, take advantage of the private dock and live the perfect lake life during your stay!
Lounge on the deck with a refreshing beverage, dine al fresco amidst the serene surroundings, or cast a line and try your luck at fishing right from the dock.
When it's time to rest, retreat to one of the inviting bedrooms, each thoughtfully appointed for a restful night's sleep. Whether you choose the master suite with its own private balcony or one of the cozy guest rooms, you'll find comfort and relaxation at every turn.

Kayak rentals and fishing gear rentals available within 1 mile of Spyglass Landing.
Boat rentals are available at Buckeye Lake. A fueling station is 1/4 mile away up the canal.
3 Bedrooms:
- 1 king bed in upstairs master bedroom facing canal with attached private balcony.
- 1 queen bed with a xl twin trundle pull-out mattress underneath in upstairs back bedroom, facing driveway.
- 1 king bed in main floor private bedroom.
-Brand new 7 person hot tub (year-round)
-Brand new indoor gas fireplace (seasonal - September through April)
-Newly converted garage game room with oscillating fans and wall mounted heater
-DirecTV streaming service
-All TV’s are HDTV/Smart TV's including 65” living room tv, 2-75” game room and 75” fire pit/bar tv.
-500mbps High Speed Wi-Fi
-Well equipped kitchen stocked with a variety of cookware
-Two Fire-pits with 6 adirondack chairs each
-2 Full Bathrooms (1 upstairs / 1 downstairs)
-Stainless steel gas grill
-Private boat dock for two boats
-Paved Access, gravel driveway with 4 parking spaces
-Both Keurig single serve brewer & separate programmable coffee maker
-New washer and dryer
Guest access:
Access to Spyglass Landing is fully paved and the gravel parking pad can hold up to 4 vehicles and/or trailers (which includes a spot in front of the garage)
Other things to note:
Please keep in mind the house does have a boat dock and is on a canal, therefore constant supervision of small children is absolutely necessary.
We are not liable for any damage that occurs to boats docked on our property.
In the late evenings (10 pm) through the early morning, please be respectful of the neighbors and keep voices and music to a minimum volume.
There are steps required to access the house from the parking pad.
The garage has been converted to a game room and is not available to park vehicles. While it does not have air conditioning it does have two high speed oscillating fans and a wall mounted space heater.

We wanted a place to sneak away for a few days that had lots of built-in amenities. This house 100% fit the bill with a decked out game room, hot tub, and ample outdoor spaces. We had 6 people total (me and the wife, our 2 teenage sons and their 2 friends) and we had a great time. The hosts were responsive and helpful. The house was recently renovated and well furnished. The game room was hit, especially with the teens, and the setting was very relaxing. We would definitely book again.

This property has everything you could want when not at lake. Furnishings are top quality vs second hand store shopping. Beds super comfortable. Garage game room will keep you entertained for hours. Then there is the hot tub for cool nights. Owners were easy to contact when needed. Will stay here again

This property was exceptionally clean and updated. The hosts were great to communicate with. Being on the canal, very close to the Marina, it was peaceful and quiet. Some very nice boats cruising the canal and everyone is very friendly. I enjoyed the upper deck to catch some rays and nice firepit to enjoy on lower patio (with lots of seating) at night.
