The Giardino delle Ginestre Guest House is a two-storey villa located just a few minutes from the centre of the municipality of Pedara, in a quiet residential area, immersed in the countryside. On the ground floor there is a living room with TV and two sofas; a kitchen also with TV; a closed veranda with large windows and table and chairs, ideal for breakfast. It also has a large complete bathroom with Jacuzzi. The sleeping area on the ground floor has two double bedrooms, both with en-suite bathroom with shower and covered outdoor terrace. The latter has a dining area with chairs and a large table, a wood-burning oven and barbecue, and a covered relaxation area with a sofa and two armchairs. A gym with weights and equipment is also available to guests. An internal staircase from the living room leads to the upper floor where there are two further double bedrooms, both with wardrobes, and a twin bedroom with a single and a single bed. Here there is also a further complete bathroom with shower. From one of the double bedrooms there is access to a small terrace with a view of Mount Etna, Europe's largest volcano. Surrounding the entire property is a large well-kept garden with lawn, Mediterranean plants, and a comfortable and relaxing rocking chair. Parking is available inside for one car, but it is also possible to park in the accommodation's private street.
Pedara is a municipality in the Etnean territory in the province of Catania, halfway between the mountains and the sea. It is the perfect destination to visit Mount Etna and its craters, which can be reached in 30 minutes, or the ski slopes of Nicolosi and Linguaglossa, in the winter months; but also to go to the sea, or to other locations in eastern Sicily, such as Taormina and Catania, which are 45 km and 17 km away, respectively. The motorway barriers for any direction are about 20 km away. The neighbouring Etnean municipalities, such as Nicolosi, Trecastagni, Viagrande, which in the summer season are populated with holidaymakers and tourists, are worth a visit, also being able to enjoy a cool evening in the company in summer, despite the higher temperatures in the cities, or in winter for the numerous festivals of typical Sicilian food and wine products.
