We had a great time in Bergen and enjoyed our accommodations very much. The location gave us a good workout every evening coming back up the hill but we reminded ourselves that we were in Bergen and it’s a very hilly area. Lol!! Our hosts were great, any questions we had, they got back to us quickly. The amenities included in the suite were also appreciated. Thank you!!

The location is nice, but there is a considerable hill to overcome to get to the apartment. If you are older or have mobility issues this could be a problem. The location of the shower is also not great but is definitely usable, if you are not too tall. The stairs to the lower bedroom are also very narrow and difficult if you have mobility issues or a large suitcase to get down there. The kitchen has pretty much everything you need to do some easy meals. I think I understood most of this from the listing so these are not complaints, just adding data for those considering this unusual set up. I would say the host was VERY responsive and that was much appreciated.

Said they had laundry facilities but they did not. Up a rather steep hill, so avoid if you have any mobility issues or a bad knee like me. 2nd bedroom is down a very narrow, steep set of stairs. Kitchen was good. Close to the wharf with nice restaurants nearby. Laundromat nearby.

The property is in great location, nice views from the windows. It has very steep access , not for people with mobility issue. We missed pot and pans lids or maybe I couldn’t find but I looked all possible places .
