Tim Horton house and perfect scenic location

The house is spacious and clean. It’s in a great location, not too far from Bergen and close to supermarkets. It was also very nice to find a delicious chocolate upon arrival, a warm welcome. We also really appreciated the washing machine, although it took some effort to find it.

Unfortunately, some things were disappointing. Based on the photos, we expected greenery, a small lake within walking distance to enjoy the outdoors, and a nice place for our dogs and a seating area outside (possibly even for canoeing?). But all of that was completely fenced off and inaccessible, which meant there was no pleasant outdoor space at the house to sit and relax. With the dogs, we could only walk along the edge of the road where cars speed by. The photos gave us a very different impression of the property. The internet was also unreliable and kept cutting out. We were startled when other people suddenly tried to open our door, we thought there was a double booking. It turned out that a second part of the house was also being rented out. It would have been helpful to know that in advance. The front door has a glass panel, which means other guests can look into the hallway, right in front of the bathroom door, which gives you very little privacy. In the kitchen, two of the four burners turned out to be broken. Because of these disappointments, the price-quality ratio feels a bit off.
