This gorge is also the gateway between the northern and southern Luberon and forms the border between the Petit Luberon or Little Luberon to the west and the Grand Luberon or Great Luberon to the east. Take a detour to L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, popularly known as the Venice of Provence, which offers a multitude of outdoor cafés along its canals as well as plenty of junk shops and artisans.
