Only a few blocks to the Fair Grounds or to Bayou St. John, as well. This residential area thrives with neighborhood bars, restaurants, and cafes, as is very typical of historic neighborhoods here in town. The close proximity to the French Quarter and Frenchmen St. is an added perk of Mid-City/Faubourg St. John. our home is located on a quiet block, with many families, including ours. We live on the other side of the house with our toddler, and sound travels easily between the two units. Therefore, absolutely no parties allowed, quiet hours are from 7 PM to 7 AM. We kindly ask that you respect these quiet hours as well as refrain from moving any furniture or banging on the floor during the day as that would disturb our son‘s nap as well. The walls are thick with additional Soundproofing, so conversations can’t be heard between the units, but loud knocking on the floor does travel between the units. If you’re looking to party this is not the place for you.
