    We were in Baltimore for an appointment at John Hopkins. This hotel is showing signs of age, but was clean and staff were friendly. It has a good breakfast. The best part though is its location. It was easy to get to John Hopkins, good places to eat, and we took in the National Aquarium while in town. All were less than a 10 minute drive.

    We were blown away with our experience here at Pier 5! When we first arrived we were a little early but the staff was able to hold our bags until check in time and they gave us vouchers for free apps at the restaurant MS that is attached to them, the restaurant was delicious btw, try the Shrimp Kisses and the Korean Chicken! When we checked in our room was amazing, great view of the Harbour and the 7 foot light house right from our balcony. The bed was so comfortable, breakfast in the morning was Amazing, everyone of the staff our whole stay was so helpful and happy, I forgot my tooth paste so I called down to see if they had any at the front desk I could buy or come pick up and they brought it right up to the room, I know this might not sound big but it is just one example of the extra steps they took to elevate our experience. The location of the hotel is right on the water, next to the Aquarium and the USCG Taney. This has absolutely become my go to spot for any future stays in Baltimore!

    Stayed here over memorial day weekend during MDF. Absolutely ideal location for that. Rooms were nice and clean and spacious. My only nitpick was only one elevator was working and they are very slow. If I were staying on the second floor I would have taken the stairs instead. I was in and out of my room multiple times a day so it was mildly annoying.

    Great location and view from room. However, the towels had stains on them and when I opened the sliding door for fresh air, the smell of marijuana was terrible.
