La Maison Bleue - Historic House in the Heart of Riquewihr

La casa si trova nel centro di in una bellissima cittadina, dove si respira magia ad ogni angolo. L'auto deve essere parcheggiata fuori dal centro cittadino, che è solo a pagamento. Le distanze sono tutte comunque a misura d'uomo, quindi spostamenti fattibili anche per anziani o famiglie con figli piccoli (città in pendenza). Nella casa abbiamo trovato un brick di latte da 250ml e delle fette di torta dolce confezionata, come benvenuto. La casa merita veramente, ben servita e curata in ogni dettaglio. Sviluppandosi in altezza gli ambienti non sono molto grandi, però si è stati molto bene.

早く到着したので、母屋で荷物を預かってもらえました。 予定より早く掃除が済んだとのことでアーリーチェックインさせてもらえました。５００年くらい歴史がありそうな３階建てのアパートは、こじんまりしていておとぎ話の家のようでした。内部は綺麗に整えてあり、清潔でした。クーラーはないけど、扇風機が２台あって助かりました。とても居心地がいい部屋でした。夜もすごく静かです。街のどこにも数分で行けます。ウェルカム牛乳がとても美味しかったです。

階段が螺旋になっており、ステップが小さい。夜にトイレに行くのは怖かった。

Tutto bellissimo e perfetto un sogno

We stayed in the Apartment with Terrace. It is next door to the house and is spread over three floors, linked by a spiral staircase. The bathroom is on the ground floor, the kitchen and sitting room on the first floor and the bedroom on the second floor-we suggest you be aware of this-and the spiral staircase - when booking. The apartment is well fitted out, clean and warm, with excellent wifi. The street outside is charming and full of character and could hardly be more convenient for the town centre. We were treated with nothing but kindness at the Restaurant Dolder when we arrived cold, wet and upset after a difficult arrival. Onion soup is a miracle cure! If you want to experience life at the heart of a mediaeval town, you could hardly do better!

When we booked, the property description said that the bathroom was “en-suite”, but as the apartment is spread over three floors, with the bathroom on the ground floor and the bedroom on the second floor, this was not the case- this description has now been changed. No mention is made of the spiral stairs in the property description. The bathroom needs a shower curtain too -water goes all over the floor if you use the shower head! The streets are very narrow and though we were told to bring the car and cases to nearby the property, I think this advice should be changed. We had a small hire car and struggled to turn in an unfamiliar setting in the dark, in pouring rain. We parked without difficulty outside the gates as recommended, and chose to walk our cases back over cobbled streets when we left, rather than drive down them again. On reflection, we would have preferred the main house, but inaccurate information did not help us decide.
