Hill Top House - Tauranga Holiday Home

Loved how we had the whole house to ourselves and how quiet and relaxing it was. Also how close it was to the shopping centres

There some flea bites my husband & daughter got on the first night and we also found cockroaches crawling around..

Great location with good views over to the Mount. Very spacious with well equipped kitchen including Dishwasher. The living area had a great heat pump, keeping that space warm and cozy. Beds were comfortable. The large bedroom had a heat pump which kept that room warm. Great host with good communication that allowed us early access. thank you.

The bedroom area of the house was cold. The 2 bedrooms without heating had terrible condensation on the windows that made the rooms feel damp and cold. The house does have a second toilet as advertised, but it is not in the main part of the house and not easy to get to. The only toilet inside the house does not have a hand basin, so you still need to use the bathroom area and not easy with large groups, as the house can easily sleep 7 people which is great.

Location & views where spot on! Good all round facilities, with good kitchen amenities and a great refurbished bathroom. Bedrooms felt well proportioned and great levels of storage for the longer stay. Comfortable beds and lounge areas.

Just a few minor tweaks could have made it a 10 out of 10...mainly, a change of bedding and towels after a week. Lighting in the lounge was slowly dying on us ( when we left, we were down to just 2 working bulbs. Blinds had a layer of soot on near to the door in the lounge. Curtains in main bedroom had a 'sweat odour' cigarette buts present directly outside premises.
