Castle Glen Lodge

What wasn’t there to like! Perfect location and we have never had such a well stocked home on arrival. Ewan was an absolute star as a host. Would recommend this lodge in a heartbeat

The lodge was built to a high specification, it was very clean and the hosts had left us lots of useful food basics, such as fresh milk and a range of coffees, as well as some treats including biscuits and a bowl of fresh fruit. The kitchen was compact, but well appointed, with a double ring induction hob, double tier air fryer (and instructions), microwave and fridge. The shower was lovely. The hosts were very communicative and helpful. Set up on a hill in a quiet area, it was easily accessible. There was a cabin at the back which held such devices as freezer, washing machine and dryer. We loved it

I'm struggling to think of much we didn't like. Maybe having a bread knife, there were various other knives, and oven gloves would have been useful, but there were plenty of tea towels so we used them.
