An excellent stay in a beautiful villa with unique views of Lago Maggiore

The location is incredible with one of the best views we have experienced in Italy. Breakfast was excellent served on the terrace with panoramic views. The villa is beautiful and nicely decorated and renovated with original furniture fitting the style of the building. The bathroom was huge and luxurious. Simply, an unique place. The owner Barbara was kind and helpful.

Everything. Just a wonderful experience! The breakfast was exceptional. This is the first time ever I will rate 10 out of 10 because usually there would be something to improve. At Villa Diomira I wouldn't change a thing!

There is nothing to dislike. People who weren't able to find the location just dont have eyes. If you come in off season just be aware that the local restaurant might be closed and you have to go down to Cannobio for dinner.

From the moment we booked, Barbara, the owner, went above and beyond to make our honeymoon and my husband’s birthday extra special. Her communication was excellent, and she made everything so seamless — even helping us locate the villa and guiding us up the mountain (which, yes, is a steep drive but 100% worth it for those views!). Barbara truly spoiled us — we felt so welcomed and looked after. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests. The villa itself is stunning, cozy, and beautifully kept, with breathtaking scenery that feels like something out of a dream. Peaceful, private, and incredibly romantic. We’ve stayed in some amazing places on our travels, but this was next level. Villa Diomira set the bar incredibly high. We can’t wait to come back one day — and would recommend it to absolutely everyone looking for an unforgettable stay. Thank you, Barbara, for everything! 💛

This is not a dislike, but it is very important to consider that the villa is high on the mountain with a narrow tricky road and you have to climb some stairs to reach the hotel( not ideal with heavy luggage or baby stroller)

Paradise with a view

A real heaven on earth - we loved every second there. Especially the breakfast and the view from up there is a 10/10.🥰 On the pictures, the rooms look a bit confining, but this is absolutely not the case (for reference, I am 1.87 meters tall). Also, check Google maps for more pictures! Barbara is an amazing host who gives everything to make you feel home. 😊 already looking forward to our next stay at Diomira.

Superbe suite dans un petit hameau au-dessus de Cannobio, l'hôte, Barbara, est d'une gentillesse incroyable. Le petit déjeuner, très copieux, était juste fabuleux ! Magnifique chambre avec vue exceptionnelle !!

Tout !! La maison, la vue plongeante sur la ville, la chambre, le petit déjeuner, les bagages amenés jusqu’en à la chambre,…. En plus, Barbara nous a préparé une petite collation (tomate mozza) le soir de notre arrivée alors qu’elle ne fait pas les repas. Nous avons vraiment apprécié !!

Die Aussicht ist wunderschön. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und strahlt Wärme aus. Barbara ist super aufmerksam und freundlich.

Einfach alles !! Der überaus herzliche Empfang 🥰 von Barbara ,die immer für uns da war ( auch wenn es nur um das Waschpulver ging ) Das wunderbare Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit Blick über den See wird uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben. Schon das alleine ist ein Grund um wieder zukommen !!

Traumhaft schön

Traumhaft schöne Unterkunft. Der Blick vom Balkon und Frühstückstisch ist wunderschön. Man kann in beide Richtungen des Lago Maggiore sehen und hat einen schönen Blick auf Cannobio. Das Zimmer war so toll, wir hatten einen kleinen mit Getränken gefüllten Kühlschrank drin, einen kleinen Obstteller, ein großes Badezimmer und ein bequemes Bett. Das leckere Frühstück mit frischem O-Saft, ect. wird von der lieben Barbara an den Tisch gebracht. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen es sehr gerne weiter. :) 😍

Die Lage mit Blick auf den See ist für ein b&b einzigartig. Die Gastgeberin ist äußerst freundlich und sehr authentisch. Die großzügige Geste, das Auto in der Garage parken zu können (ohne Aufpreis) ist aussergewöhnlich. Das servierte Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen, sehr vielfältig und abwechslungsreich. Das naheliegende ital. Lokal ist ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen, das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt!
