Fitzgerald Building by "The House Of Travelers"

We absolutely loved our stay here the apartment is just perfect. Right on the main square in Como town with restaurants nearby and many to choose from, the lake was so close 4 minute walk. 10 minute walk to the train and bus station aswell. The apartment itself was located on the top floor which was fine for us but not for people with reduced mobility as there is only stairs no lift. The air conditioning was amazing as it was very hot while we were there. Very comfortable bed and an amazing shower. The apartment is very spacious. We loved having Netflix and YouTube on the TV. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it to everyone! We will definitely be back!

The stairs wasn’t ideal but we didn’t mind it but for elderly people it’s not suitable. It can be loud at night time because of the restaurants underneath but it didn’t bother us at all we slept fine. Could have done with more shampoo, body wash and towels.

It was a nice modern place in a good location. Although it could be noisy at night to double glazing really helped.

We didn’t like the 3 pm check-in and it felt like it was a long time to wait as most checkouts are at 10 am. Additionally, check-in was not at the property which was not fully exposed at booking.

The location was a short walk from the train station and excellently located in a main square near shopping restaurants ferry etc. The room although above the square on the 2nd floor was high enough to be reasonably quiet at night. The room was good size as was the bathroom and closet area.

The lock box was old and not easy to open which was concerning because we wondered whether we had the right code. The entry doors were also diffiult and all three would benefit from some oil. The worst issue was we only were given one set of keys.The keys were required to lock the room and exit the property meaning me and my partner had to be together at all times, never have i experienced something like this. traveling The appliances coffee microwave etc were on the counter with no place to plug in. They had to be moved from the counter to the floor or across the room to a table.. The shower had no place to hold soap or shampoo. For a 4 night stay two people got two bath and 2 hand towels. Stairs going ro the second floor were steep and with luggage a bit challenging suggest you realistically assess your health before booking.
